RFP for Consulting Services for Capital and Growth Plan – Dufferin Grove Housing Co-operative
The Dufferin Grove Housing Cooperative (DGHC) seeks a Consultant to help build a sustainable capital plan and explore potential growth opportunities for the DGHC a not-for-profit housing co-operative.
The Dufferin Grove Housing Cooperative mission is to enhance the quality of life for all who choose this as a home, by providing affordable homes in a friendly, co-operative and supportive community.
Working closely with the Board Liaison, Claire-Hélène Heese-Boutin, and property management staff, Tirca Solutions, Inc., and under the direction of the Board of Directors and its committees, the consultant will be responsible for the review of a capital plan for the DGHC and exploration of growth opportunities for the DGHC.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in member engagement and meeting facilitation, non-profit co-operative financial models, real estate, land development, affordable housing, and committed to finding innovative ways to ensure financial sustainability for the DGHC. A strong commitment to neighbourhood inclusiveness, social equity, and eagerness to develop a member-based model is essential.
